Fix syncing problems
What to do when new data stops arriving in Everstride.
Most sync problems come down to one of a few causes. Work through these in order.
For athletes
Section titled “For athletes”-
Check your device’s own app. Open Garmin Connect, WHOOP or similar and make sure today’s data is there. Everstride can only collect what has reached that app.
-
Open Devices in Everstride. Check when it last synced, and look for “Sign-in expired, not syncing”.
-
Reconnect if asked. If the sign-in has expired, choose Reconnect. See Reconnect a device.
-
Give it several hours. New data doesn’t always arrive right away.
-
Disconnect and connect again. If it still hasn’t updated after a day, try this from Devices.
-
Contact us. If that doesn’t help, email hello@everstride.fit, and tell us your device and when it last synced.
Common questions
Section titled “Common questions”I just connected and nothing is showing
Section titled “I just connected and nothing is showing”Your history takes some time to come in, particularly on the first sync. Check back later. If you’ve just connected Strava, you’ll only see workouts. See Supported devices.
My recovery score is missing
Section titled “My recovery score is missing”Not every device gives a recovery score. You’ll see “No recovery score yet”, along with your other readings.
My number is different from my device’s app
Section titled “My number is different from my device’s app”This can be expected. Everstride works out sleep score and training load with its own method, so that everyone’s numbers mean the same thing. See Metrics explained.
A session appears on the wrong day
Section titled “A session appears on the wrong day”Check your time zone in Profile. The change applies to data synced from then on.
A workout I deleted is still there
Section titled “A workout I deleted is still there”Oura and Strava tell Everstride when something is deleted, so it’s removed here too. WHOOP and Suunto don’t, so the copy can remain here. Email hello@everstride.fit if you need it removed.
Connecting fails or sends me back with an error
Section titled “Connecting fails or sends me back with an error”Try again in a private browser window, and make sure you approve all the permissions on the device maker’s page.

| Not shared | They’ve chosen not to share this | Have a chat with them. Only they can change it |
